Job Description :
Purpose : This role requires the incumbent to continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action and maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
Accountabilities :
- A list of the key responsibilities of the role, detailing what the role is accountable for
- Write copy for a variety of media including Social, Video, and Online
- Drive brand consistency across all company communications
- Write original copy and Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Research and understand the marketing needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research
- Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
- Writing, editing and publishing engaging posts for social media networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
- Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
- Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
- Develop a refined understanding of the brand, category, and overall marketplace; superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading symbols

Education Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
Experience & Skills :
- Proven work experience as a copywriter, product copywriter or similar role
- Minimum 1-3 years experience
- Ability to recognize strong creative ideas and see them through to completion
- Strong copywriting experience gained from a Journalism or advertising industry
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions, product packaging labels, website, email) and smaller texts (e.g. social media posts, ads for performance marketing, sms)
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
