Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Curating top stories in the fields of business, economy, technology, startups, finance, income tax, GST and other related laws, current announcements in these areas. The focus for such contents would be primarily industry specific targeting small businesses houses & enterprises like the MSME (medium and small scale enterprises), businesses and service providers.

2. Writing summaries and analysis of these stories in an original tone that matches with the audience profile

3. Timely delivery of the roundup to readers daily

4. Ideating and innovating on the format, content themes, engagement

5. Keeping track of reader feedback and analytics to make improvements

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's degrees in journalism or finance graduates or MBA(finance), CA inter, B.com(H) or CA with an excellent command over the English language and literature

2. Experience with a news publication writing on business and economy would be preferable. Creative portfolio with previous campaign writing samples.

3. A flair for writing with an effective and unique writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly along with an understanding of what works on the internet

4. Is able to work independently and can take ownership

5. Enterprising, creative, customer centric and innovative

6. A knack for editing and proof reading with good research skills, able to use infographics and other available tools in market

7. Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences looking for creative, clean and crisp content

8. An understanding of keywords and Meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, Meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc. (in short, basic SEO skills)
