Content Writer - eCommerce Domain (2-3 yrs)
- Expertise in long & short COPY
- Have a knack for generating ideas and copy that persuades customers to act in the desired manner.
- Can operate within the bounds of e-commerce requirements, and yet let creativity do the talking. Deliver ideas and copy that are designed to generate the desired business outcomes.
- Must have written for e-commerce clients in the past, and well-versed with the art of writing for sales. Have an ability to write creative marketing copy while adhering to SEO/keyword guidelines. A native digital thinker with 2-3 years of relevant experience in writing for digital and social media, across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.
- Ability to collaborate with the servicing team to help develop impactful creative briefs
- Take the lead in brainstorming and creative concept meetings and generate impactful creative concepts for digital campaigns that support marketing strategies and objectives
- Write to inspire shoppers/consumers and drive business results. Results can be - leads, enquiries, traffic to website, or actual sales.
- Understands the importance of swift turnarounds, and the need for agile improvements in ongoing campaigns
- Expert in writing for paid media creative, text ads, display banners, native ads, SEO, website content, and other creative performance marketing requirements to garner results through digital
- Constantly study the latest digital and cultural trends for inspiration
- Look to develop and deliver innovative ideas and solutions that fully leverage the various formats and possibilities across platforms
- Conversant with various social media platforms and constantly tracking them for new format possibilities that they offer
What I need to have :
- B.A in English, journalism, marketing / BMS (Engineers and other misguided professionals who've finally found their true calling can also apply!)
- 2-3 years of relevant experience (should have written for e-commerce brands)
- Demonstrated ability of writing impactful, responsive marketing copy
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills
- Experience in writing for multiple digital media platforms
- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
- Ability to comprehend, create and adhere to each client's brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent teamwork/collaborative abilities
- Must have the ability to multi-task and meet agreed deadlines
