Content Writer/Copy Writer - eCommerce (2-4 yrs)
Looking for a Content Writer/Copywriter based in Mumbai/Gurgaon.
Responsibilities :
Content Creation : Develop high-quality, compelling, and persuasive content that aligns with the brand voice and captures the attention of the target audience. This includes writing engaging website copy, product descriptions, blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
Brand Messaging : Collaborate with the marketing team to establish and refine brand messaging and ensure consistency across all communication channels. Convey the brand's value proposition effectively through the content you create.
Content Strategy : Assist in developing content strategies that support marketing objectives and drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions. Generate creative ideas for content campaigns and initiatives.
Market Research : Conduct thorough research to understand target audience preferences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Use insights gathered to create content that resonates with customers and differentiates our brand from competitors.
Proofreading and Editing : Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and style. Ensure all content is error-free and adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Content Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools. Identify areas of improvement, track engagement metrics, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize content strategy and maximize results.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience as a content writer/copywriter, preferably within a D2C or e-commerce environment. A portfolio demonstrating a range of written work is required.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading abilities. Ability to create compelling, persuasive, and engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
- Ability to generate fresh ideas, think creatively, and adapt writing style to suit various platforms and target audiences.
- Strong research capabilities to gather insights, understand audience preferences, and stay updated with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, take feedback positively, and communicate ideas clearly.
Knowledge of D2C Principles : Familiarity with direct-to-consumer business models, customer acquisition strategies, and content marketing techniques within the D2C industry.
