Content Writer Specialist

PROFILE

We have an opportunity for a talented Content Writer Specialist to bring our savings and investment products to life. You will be a key contributor in the Marketing team, and will work closely with the Savings (B2C) and Business (B2B) teams to generate written content. Content should drive engagement and conversion across all marketing channels including web, social, search and display/print.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Write and edit helpful and educational content for increasing acquisition and optimising product pages

- Simplify and communicate complicated financial products and concepts to make them easy for our customers to understand

- Build strong working relationships with marketing, product and legal teams to ensure digital content is delivered in line with appropriate regulatory, legal, product technical and brand guidelines

- Cultivate strong working relationships within the team, proactively making suggestions for improvement and campaigns as well as responding to briefs

- Collaborate with your team to produce high quality written content that adheres to our brand tone of voice and offers a simple digital customer experience

- Identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing copy on site or in key marketing channels

- Adhere to live or virtual (e.g, Jira) agile board processes and keep updated as required

- Challenge compliance recommendations and feedback where it is possible, and improve copy for customers whilst remaining compliant

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- 3 years experience of writing B2C content in the BFSI domain (specifically for B2C Savings, Investments and B2B Financial Services)

- A skilled communicator with strong English writing and oral skills. Hindi and Kannada skills are a bonus

- Ability and willingness to build knowledge of complex financial services products and related compliance requirements quickly

- Experience using and managing Content Management Systems would be advantageous

- Experience of working in web, publishing and/or digital marketing environments

- Ability to challenge the status quo - we want to make savings, investments, and business financial services genuinely engaging
