Content Writer - Advertising Agency (2-7 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
1. Develop original, clear, and persuasive content for various marketing channels, ensuring alignment with the clients' brand guidelines and objectives.
2. Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and generate ideas for compelling marketing campaigns and initiatives.
3. Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and insights for content creation, ensuring accuracy and credibility.
4. Write engaging copy for websites, landing pages, blog articles, social media posts, email newsletters, and other promotional materials.
5. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive website traffic.
6. Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats to continually enhance the agency's content strategies.
8. Work closely with clients to understand their brand voice, objectives, and target audience, adapting content accordingly.
9. Collaborate with the design team to ensure effective integration of written and visual elements.
10. Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a content writer, preferably within an advertising agency or marketing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to tailor content to different target audiences.
- Proficiency in researching, organizing, and presenting information in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating creativity, versatility, and proficiency in various writing styles.
