Content Writer (3-4 yrs)
The content writer will develop and create content related to the telecom and tower industry for print, digital media, or do product descriptions. He/she will be required to create well-researched and accurate content within tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing, spelling, and understanding of grammar are essential to the role.
- 1 year experience minimum (can also provide a link to his/her work if did some freelancing work)- Portfolio of published articles
Content Writer Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
- Researching and organizing facts and sources.
- Use market research, competitor offerings to compare and create content that is innovative and original. Plagiarism is not at all acceptable.
- Interviewing sources - Product manager, management, sales team, etc
- Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with team for new ideas and strategies
- Collaborating with multiple teams for creating stories.
- Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, Newsletters, company Updates etc.)
- Identify customers- needs and gaps in existing content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed.
- Utilize graphics editing and media creation programs to develop prototypes and storyboards.
Content Writer Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinker and planner
- Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
- Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
- High school degree or equivalent; B.tech, MBA or Bachelor's degree in creative writing, English, or related field preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs
- Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver
