Content Writer (2-6 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
- Manage and take ownership of content from long-form articles to short-form bite-sized content for performance marketing campaigns.
- Researching markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original
- Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with team for new ideas and strategies
- Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (websites, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, etc.)
- Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) Proofread, edit and improve content - Blogs, SEO web pages, long-form guides, submitted by external writers or agencies
- Coordinate with SEO specialists to create and refresh content to capture crucial SERP real estate
- Incorporate targeted keyword research into new or existing content
Requirements :
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Copy Writer, content writer, or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles and familiarity with web publications
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) and also with analytical tools like Google Analytics Tech-savvy with the ability to make complex technical matters easy- to understand even for non-technical people
- Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast-growing unstructured startup environment
- In-depth experience of market research in SME SaaS-tech or SMB segments is preferred
