About the Role:

- As content writer, you will spend your time focused on writing new content for our client communications, social media accounts, website, and other written and marketing materials.

- You will have the opportunity to write stories, email blasts, podcasts, large-scale advertising campaigns, press releases, and more.

- You will take content ideas from the client, various stakeholders within the organization, and turn headlines/ideas into meaningful stories that appeal to our audience ultimately leading to membership growth and engagement of members in our various campaigns,new initiatives and events.

Job responsibilities:

- Author of copy promoting membership in various campaigns, events and other initiatives.

- Create promotional copy for email campaigns and social media posts (primarily Twitter,Facebook, and WhatsApp).

- Prepare phone scripts for staff to use in promoting events.

- Prepare voice over scripts for promotional videos and scripts for promotional materials.

- Write native advertising posts and teasers to be carried in association newsletters.

- Write drafts of promotional press releases and similar statements.

- Conduct in-depth research on topic based issues relevant to political ecosystem

- Follow organization's style and remain consistent with style and voice within each medium.

- Produce copy appropriate for each medium, while switching nimbly between media.

Requirements for the Job:

- You have a degree in BA/ MA in Particular language or Mass Communication.

- You have 1-3 years of experience in content writing (A writing sample will be required as part of the interview sequence)

- You are fluent in Particular language and have excellent verbal and written communication skills

- You must be able to restructure and recreate content copies from the existing and available content in an engaging manner.

- Knowledge of online content generation and content representation tools is preferred Political knowledge beneficial
