The Job
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and target audience personas.
- Create compelling and optimized content for digital channels, including website copy, blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts, digital ads, and video scripts.
- Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that communicates key messages and drives desired actions, such as clicks, sign-ups, and conversions.
- Develop engaging content calendars and schedules to ensure consistent delivery of content across all digital platforms.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion rates, and use insights to refine content strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to inform content creation and optimization efforts.
Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a digital marketing content writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of digital content samples.
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in keyword research tools and SEO optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform content strategies and optimizations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
