Content Whale - Executive - Social Media Marketing (1-4 yrs)
Based in Mumbai, Content-Whale is a content-writing agency serving clients across industries with more than 42 different content types. Working domestically and globally, Content-Whale has a presence in 12 countries other than India. Some of these names include the US, the UK, France, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and South Africa. The team of 250+ full-time writers, editors and freelancers has served big industry brands as well as smaller franchises.
Designation : Social Media Executive
Years of Experience : Min 1.5 years of experience working in a digital marketing agency/ad agency
Qualities of the Candidate :
1. Good knowledge of all different digital marketing channels, including online marketing tools and best practices.
2. Basic Knowledge of SEO/SEM and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Task Manager)
3. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords, and email campaigns.
5. Familiarity with content curation and creative content writing.
6. Proactive problem-solving abilities
Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include :
1. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
2. Being the point of contact (POC) for the client and internal team
3. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
4. Set up and optimize client brand pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the brand's social content
5. Creative copy for client's social media mandate and working closely with the designer on the execution of the concept.
6. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
7. Create editorial calendars and schedule the content on each platform
8. Sharing the Performance tracker with the client and continuously improving by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
9. Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
10. Defining KPIs and performance metrics to track these campaigns and report the results on an ongoing basis
