Content Strategist (3-6 yrs)
You will gather key business and user insights and apply strategic planning skills to create a long-term vision for content generation & promotion.
You must also have your pulse on the industry dynamics & be able to come up with ideas to capitalize on trending news.
Experience: 3-5 years as a Content Strategist or in a relevant role
Tasks you- ll be doing:
- Develop a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research & prepare a strategy to align Draup's content with their requirements
- Coordinate with the content team to suggest & plan blogs/whitepapers based on market trends
- Coordinate with social media team to plan Twitter/FB/Insta/LinkedIn posts on a trending topic to maximize reach and engagement
- Analyze breaking news across industries to capitalize moment marketing opportunities
- Perform content audits to assess how well existing content is performing
- Perform content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed
- Engage in competitor intelligence gathering and suggest roadmaps for Draup's content plan
- Use consumer analytics to determine the best way to engage users, increase customer loyalty, generate leads, and measure brand awareness
- Use analytics to increase newsletter open rates, CTRs and suggest content & design improvements
- Actively explore new avenues for social media marketing & build plans to promote content.
- Prepare and maintain editorial calendars
- Prepare, maintain and update style guides for social media and content marketing
- You will meet with the content & social media team weekly to discuss & plan the content strategy for the next week
Skills You Need
- Creativity - You must highlight the right capabilities of our products within B2B marketing guidelines
- Market Research - You must be able to independently analyze the target audience, identify their pain points & suggest timely content collaterals
- Analytics - You must be a data storyteller that analyzes our daily/weekly marketing metrics to identify & tweak our content strategy continuously.
- Outreach - You must be able to develop & implement content outreach initiatives and identify new content promotion channels.
Bonus:
- High-level knowledge of disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, ML, etc., and a good understanding of the Sales/Talent ecosystem
- Experience in newsletter marketing
- Strong background in SEO & SMM
- Experience in being an active part of end-to-end digital marketing strategy
