Job Description:
TeamLease is looking for a talented Content Writer, with experience in Business and Creative Content writing to create compelling content across all its marketing & communication channels including marketing collaterals, customer content, blog posts, white papers, product /offering descriptions, social media content and web copy.
We are looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material.
The job requires working with SMEs, Sales and Marketing Team to scope the right content and present it in the right context and in a relevant manner, which makes for a great reading experience.The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop fit-for-purpose content basis the marketing brief and target audience profile
- Use extensive writing knowledge to shape content into the right structure and voice
- Manage content development from start to finish, from taking brief to the initial outline to the finished product, through rounds of revisions
- Create customer-centric content that is relevant and easy to read and understand
- Writing, editing and proof-reading website content
- Develop content for sales collateral - Brochure, Flyers, Factsheets, Video Scripts & Voice-over content
- Writing for web such as blogs, social channels and scannable articles
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Develop Thought Leadership and Media Articles for Leadership
- Develop Content for client newsletters and client connect initiatives
- Review, Editing, Proof-reading of client specific decks/presentation
- Develop and write executive-communications
Relationships:
Reports to: Senior Manager Demand Marketing
External Relationships: Vendors, suppliers, agencies
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation - English Literature/Journalism/Mass-communications
PG - MBA/PGDM - Marketing/Mass communications/Journalism/Literature
Work Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of content development/writing/editing experience
Industry Experience: Corp-Comm/Marcomm Function of a Large MNC IT company or Tier-1 or 2 Indian IT services company and/or Content writer or developer in Leading/Tier 1 Advertising Agencies, PR agency and/or Business Journalist working with Business Dailies/Weekly and/or Freelancers with diverse portfolio of content work for B2B client
Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate in English is important.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Understanding of TeamLease- s business and overall business strategy
- Understanding of strategic marketing and communications, especially in area of specialization - content
- Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Excellent flair for writing documentation, sales and marketing content & collaterals
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Ability to write engaging and interactive content
- Should be able to quickly grasp new technologies
- Understanding and ability to apply integrated marketing concepts, visual identity, brand strategy and positioning, and message development skills
