Content Specialist - Tamil

We are looking for a talented content specialist to help us find & surface amazing short video Tamil content on our platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of all social media formats; a demonstrated understanding of social platforms; and an interest in subjects including pop culture, music and celebrities, as well as memes and other popular forms of online culture. W're looking for people with a proven ability to identify trends -- as they- re happening or ahead of the curve. 

A background in social media, community management or content creation is a plus. Candidates should have the proven ability to work quickly under pressure, to make smart editorial decisions, and to work collaboratively with external partners and global colleagues. High Proficiency in Tamil. Additional hold of either Malayalam, Telugu & Kannada is preferred.

- Should also be able to understand English.

- The role is open to candidates nationwide (6 months)
 
RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Review short form video content from a diverse set of creators, public figures, and influencers with a focus on digital trends and music culture

- Identify cultural trends across a diverse spectrum of topics

- Identify online trends and personalities, including emerging memes and cultural conversations

- Develop strategy and create plans for events and cultural moments

- Collaborate with our product teams to improve user experience

- Have the ability to work a weekend schedule as trends and cultural events require, including Saturday and Sundays on an extended basis

- Capture and highlight the best content from wide range of topics, including pop culture, celebrities, comedy, music, sports and food

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : 

- 5+ years of experience in digital video content production, editorial / publishing, or creator / influencer talent

- Experience in social media with a focus on short-video

- Familiarity with teen entertainment trends in your region
