Content Specialist Manager - Fixed Income Team (8-12 yrs)

The Opportunity :
We are recruiting for the Specialists lead to be based out of Bangalore, India. The Leader will be responsible for guiding Content Specialists within Fixed Income team across locations. The Leader will be accountable for delivering enhancements to collection systems and data delivery databases. The Leader will report to the Specialist Manager, Core Reference.
Key Responsibilities :
- Directly manage a team of Fixed Income Content Specialists
- Responsible for resource planning, coaching, and providing performance feedback to the team members. Conduct performance reviews of the team.
- Develop an understanding of GovCorp, Muni and NEWCMO databases.
- Develop good content knowledge of Agency, Corporate and Municipal Bonds, Mortgages and Asset Backed Securities.
- Develop an understanding of Fixed Income Events in the ISO 15022 format.
- Develop a good understanding of the EJV database.
- Service Support
- Manage strategic client accounts and manage regular client interactions. Document client requirements and client interactions.
- Project Management of the projects in the Fixed Income space.
- Conduct regular discussions to facilitate decision making in managing projects, service initiatives, work load and other key areas of focus.
- Work closely with the FI Content management team and support the Content Management strategy.
- Work very closely with the global Fixed Income content operations teams and support them on complex issues related to service and database.
- Work closely with the Front line Content Service Management team and Go To Market teams and support them on pre-sales initiatives and other activities such as reviewing RFP and RFI submissions.
- Work closely with the various stakeholders in Fixed Income Development team. Supervise requirements writing, project planning, project execution, UAT, defect fixing and timely delivery of projects.
- Establish collaborative relationships with wider audience coordinate discussions with and provide direction to front line team, customers, suppliers, consultants and technical staff in determining requirements for enhancements, cleanse activities, studies and project initiatives.
- Translate external market policies, rules, change in regulations and events into internal technical and operational requirements, maintaining a current awareness of the marketplace and other regulatory rules.
- Ensure documentation on work flows, practices, client interactions and other key planning documents are up-to-date and consistent.
- Proactively discuss and escalate any service issues using the appropriate channels. Take ownership on the service issues.
- Develop a strong inclination towards various automation and simplification initiatives and deliver on the same.
To qualify for the role you must have :
- Bachelors and/or a Master degree
- Over 8 years of overall work experience with a minimum of 4 years experience in managing a team of Highly Specialized Individual Contributors, Content Specialists or Business Analysts over multiple domains.
- Experience articulating business requirements into detailed requirements.
- Experience driving scrum calls and working on multiple projects. Project Management.
- Ability to learn new databases and technologies.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
- Proactive, innovative and with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to get very detailed, while also being able to summarize at an executive level as needed
- Highly customer-centric, with a passion for high-quality output and for delighting the customer.
