Content Marketer - Video Platform (1-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities
- Creating content for Youtube (mostly shorts)
- Writing and editing articles
- Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for content
- Asking effective questions and developing rapport/trust with story subjects.
- Storyboarding: understanding the effectiveness and appropriateness of story assets (text, images, audio, video) and combining them to build a robust story.
- Converting conversation pointers into a strong storyline.
- Creating content marketing strategies from scratch and taking ownership on end-to-end execution.
- Visual, audio and video content creation experience; Know how of basic video editing, photo editing tools
- Well-developed eye/ear for best practices in each format of content.
- Work closely with the founder.
Who you are
- Understanding of story fundamentals (effective character, trajectory, hook, authenticity/details and calls-to-action)
- Keen sense of storytelling (what makes a story interesting from the audience's perspective)
- Stellar writing skills and sense of conveying more in less words.
- Familiarity with tech lingo & Games
- Street smart (gives equal weightage to hard work and smart work)
- Self-learning and self-initiating attitude with attention to detail.
- Define and implement channel strategy, including long-term goals, go-to-market strategies, and key performance indicators within YouTube's search engine
- Manage channel content, majorly focusing on YR shorts
- Create, maintain, and promote channel content, including videos and other assets
- Develop and oversee channel community, including channel moderators, marketing managers, and network of channel partners
- Manage and enforce channel policies and guidelines
- Develop channel marketing strategy and implement tactics, including paid and organic search, social, and display advertising
- Oversee channel business analytics, including reporting, analysis, and optimization
- Develop and implement channel budget
Good to have:
- Past experience in Gaming industry. (Internship/full-time)
- Strong hold on Youtube.
- Know how of scale a YT channel handle from 1 to 100 and starting from 0 to 1.

- Radical transparency - If you have a problem with anyone in the team, senior or junior, or even the founder, you are encouraged to directly address the issue head-on by being open about it in a one-on-one conversation with the person and trying to resolve it asap first before looping in others like your reporting/skip-level reporting manager.
- Work hours - 10 AM till work is done.
