Content Marketer - SaaS Platform (4-6 yrs)
Job Title: Content Marketer
Department: Marketing
Key Deliverables:
- Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive organic traffic, thought leadership and air cover for sales efforts. Different formats and types of content to be created and disseminated as per the different aspects of the customer journey
- Help with PR and Internal communications
- Create and manage a content marketing strategy and Editorial Plan/ Calendar to meet the business objectives at an effective cost
- Get content created in various formats (text, image, video) as per different user personas and then optimize the path to conversion. We are focused on the US market so will use international freelancers for content creation
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization, and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
- Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
- All content to be maintained in a CMS - organised properly
- Content Dissemination: a very important part of the role is disseminating this content via various channels including but not limited to: social media channels, email/newsletter, blogs, influencers, paid publications, PR and more.
- Using the right tools to understand analytics and optimise - including using best practices, which content and approaches work on each and why
- Collaborating with creative resources including designers, writers, and video production folks
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS environment
- Understanding of enterprise clients (B2B SaaS), consumer personas is a must
- Content planning and editorial calendar management experience
- Content writing experience will be a plus but not require
- Experience in early-stage startup environment and inherent hustle factor would be an advantage
- Fluent communication and ability to manage situations on the ground
- Enthusiastic and self starter attitude
- Demonstrates high ethical value
