Content Lead - eCommerce (4-7 yrs)
Content Lead (D2C/E - Commerce)- Female Only
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive content & creative strategy & road map, aligned with the brand's objectives, target audience, and brand voice.
2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to ensure content aligns with the brand's positioning and marketing campaigns.
3. Be one of the leading faces of the brand - shoot UGC content for the brand's social media, ads etc.
4. Lead & mentor a lean in-house creative team consisting of social media managers & graphic designers.
5. Identify and create A-class content with third party content creation agencies on a need basis.
6. Research market trends, consumer insights, and competitor strategies to identify out of the box content opportunities and create a unique content proposition.
7. Create a content calendar that outlines the production and distribution schedule for various content formats, including blog posts, videos, social media content, emails, and website copy.
8. Script engaging and compelling content that resonates with the target audience, supports brand storytelling, and drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions.
9. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and other digital platforms, ensuring maximum reach and visibility.
10. Track and analyze content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and customer feedback, using data-driven insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
11. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging content formats, and digital marketing best practices, and implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
12. Collaborate with influencers, partners, and customers to co-create content that amplifies brand reach and fosters brand advocacy.
13. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all content channels, ensuring a cohesive brand experience for customers.
14. Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments, and inquiries on social media and other content platforms.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
2. 4+ years experience in content creation, management, and strategy development, preferably within the direct-to-consumer (D2C) or e-commerce industry.
3. Deep understanding of the D2C landscape, customer journey, and the ability to tailor content for various stages of the buyer's funnel.
4. Excellent storytelling skills and a strong creative vision, with the ability to translate brand messaging into engaging and impactful content across multiple channels.
5. Proficiency in creating and managing various content formats, including written, visual, and video content.
6. Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices, SEO, social media platforms, and content management systems (CMS).
7. Experience in analyzing content performance metrics using analytics tools to derive actionable insights.
8. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
9. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders
