Our client is to facilitate the technical learning for international audience by providing best quality content at affordable prices to break down the financial and geographical barriers to computer and IT education.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

- CDEs work closely with the author(s) to develop content and provide editorial support for them as per the BPB Style Guidelines & templates which includes but is not limited to - grammar checks, sentence rephrasing, paraphrasing, checking the structure/flow of the content.

- Conducting research on the technology of the title they have been assigned so that they have some basic understanding of the technology.

- CDEs address queries or concerns raised by the technical reviewers of the book and act as intermediaries between the author(s) and technical reviewers.

- Scheduling activities to ensure that content is received in a timely manner, and also accommodates any delays that occur.

- As CDEs will be handling multiple titles/authors at a time, they must be good at multitasking and maintaining a track of their follow-ups and deadlines.

Ideal Candidate :

- You have strong writing skills and a keen eye to ensure that the content is free from errors and complies with editorial style and guidelines.

- You have working knowledge of Proofreading, Grammar, Content Editing, Punctuations and Attention to Details

- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments

- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
