Job Description : If you are passionate about user-generated content, online news and authentic information sources, then this role is for you.

Responsibilities :

- Enforce the policies and process set in place and apply the same to content that is marked for review.

- Undertake research using available tools to determine the authenticity of the content marked for review.

- Justify with reasoning why the content marked for review is fit or not fit to be allowed on specific platforms .

- Disable content that does not meet policies and processes set in place.

- Basis experience and work, suggest changes to the policies and procedures being followed.

- Monitor media and social media for statements and claims made by political parties and their leaders, as well as other organizations and individuals to fact check them for accuracy.

- Monitor and track social media platforms and content posted across various websites.

Requirements : 

- Candidate should have completed a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Journalism, Mass Mass, Communication, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Public Policy, Arts etc.

- Candidate must have at least 2 years of work experience.

- Candidate must be able to read, write and speak in Hindi. Fluency is a must. Knowledge of English also a must.

- Candidate should be familiar with tools such as Google Advanced Search, Google Image Search, WhoIs etc.

- Candidate should have an eye for accuracy and detail.

- Candidate must be able to work independently and make informed decisions based on research.

- Candidate must be open to a flexible schedule.

- Being an accredited journalist is a plus.

Working Days : 6 Days a Week
