Content Developer - eCommerce (2-3 yrs)
Based on the requirements of the organization, a content writer needs to create new content, rewrite the existing content or edit and proofread content. He/she would also be responsible for managing content on social media and develop unique ideas for web content. A content writer should clearly understand the objectives of the organization, his/ her target audience, and must develop simple, easy-to-understand, user friendly content while employing good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. Before publishing the articles on the web, he or she should edit/proof read it. The content should be informative and engaging and should enable the visitors to get their information promptly and efficiently.
- You will be responsible for supporting multiple categories that populates/ procures content for the Catalog, works with vendors to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of products, and interact directly with internal customers.
- Duties may include, taking part in planning, organizing, outline procedures, make time estimates on new jobs received, check accuracy/quality of content creation/population, ensuring records are maintained accurately, ensuring utilization of self is high, mentor and train new team members.
- Work with vendors to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of products/services.
- Work with vendors to increase improve processes and reduce order discrepancies.
- Partner with vendors to ensure vendor compliance and scalable communication processes.
- Troubleshoot and drive resolutions with Vendors to ensure reliable and operationally effective flow of products; improve processes and reduce discrepancies; ensure vendor compliances and scalable communication processes.
- Experience in content and product upload for ecommerce sites.
- Some of the basic skills required for a content developer are:
1 Bachelor's degree in journalism or communication and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in web related marketing and development.
2 Excellent communications and writing skills
3 Good listening skills
4 Multitasking abilities
5 Ability to work independently
6 Fairly good knowledge of HTML, Graphic editors etc would be of benefit in this profession.
