LMS Content Creator


Brief Description :

- He/She would be Responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning materials and content to support the training and development initiatives of the organization. To design training programs for our LMS platform. He/She will oversee training needs analysis, program design, production, and evaluation. Authoring and constructing training modules for technical training utilizing modern authoring tools is part of this position's responsibilities. In addition, the candidate will be expected to coordinate and interact with stakeholders to ensure that all courses are delivered on schedule, as well as organize resources and logistics.

Job Overview, Roles & Responsibilities :

- Create engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, training guides, job aids, videos, and other multimedia assets. Upload, test and maintain content to an LMS.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to design and develop a comprehensive learning curriculum that aligns with organizational goals and address specific training needs.

- Formulate learning objectives; plan, design, and develop methods for the assessment and evaluation of training effectiveness.

- Review and update existing learning content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather content requirements, understand training needs and ensure timely delivery of learning materials.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning methodologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance learning content.

- Create & develop new, innovative content in line with the organizational and employee development goals.

- Ensure that behavioral and functional (non-technical) learning programs content is customized to cater to critical employee/customer groups.

- Create the overall framework of managing various learning programs content (functional, behavioral, and technical)

- Address changes and feedback to course deliverables in a timely manner

To be successful in this role :

Relevant Education & Experience :

- At least 5 years of experience in managing initiatives and programs pertaining to L&D Content Creation/LMS platforms.

- At least 5 years' experience in imparting training.

- Bachelor's/Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree/diploma in Personnel/Human Resource Management.

- Graduation in Marketing, English, Journalism, or relevant field

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems

- Experience in creating SCORM compliant courses, and should have used Articulate

- Hands on experience in editing videos and recording screen captures, creation of video snippets

- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills.

- Knowledge of LMS platforms.

- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces

- Ability to adapt to different audiences and training environments.

- Time-management skills

- Experience creating voice-overs and/or video tutorials.

- Experience with emerging tech trends for content creation.

- Solid project management skills, including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, working with stakeholders, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results.

- Proficient with Power Point, Adobe, Word, sharepoint
