Consumer Lending Officer - Sales - Education Loan (4-10 yrs)

THE ROLE :

You will be responsible for managing the - Lead to Application- customer journey for prospective students and being the voice of our business for our global applicants and partners, specifically Asia Pacific, Africa, and Middle East. Your focus will be to drive application volume from the partner channel and develop deeper collaboration opportunities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

- Driving lead generation and application volume from the regional partnership channel with a focus on lead quality and conversion

- Securing new partnerships to increase application volume and diversify revenue channels,including offline affiliate partnerships

- Developing strong competitive analysis and leveraging insights to help with testing and measuring customer acquisition strategies

- Developing an engagement strategy for students who are still early in their overseas education journey and utilizing appropriate conversion strategies

- Organizing and leading webinars, learning sessions, and other in-person or online forums/events to increase engagement and awareness with our target populations

- Proactively reaching out to partners, student networks and/or prospective borrowers (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) to educate them on the benefits of our loans


- Using data and analytics to derive insights on the partner channel, and leverage those insights for product and process improvement

- Managing and growing a multi-country portfolio, including a team of business development associates


 THE QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree, or higher

- 7+ years of proven success in business development in a high-touch, fast-paced environment

- Strong understanding of banking, lending, financial services or personal finance with the ability to learn and adapt quickly

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with customers and industry partners via phone, email, and chat

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to move between strategic thinking and details

- Prior experience managing high-performing sales teams

- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

- Proficiency in a Foreign language is a plus
