Consultant - Travel Sales (1-3 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Client Consultation :
- Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget,providing expert advice and recommendations.
Itinerary Planning :
- Create comprehensive and customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
Booking and Reservations :
- Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
Customer Service :
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel planning process, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Travel Documentation :
- Ensure clients have all necessary travel documents, including visas, passports, and travel insurance.
Budget Management :
- Assist clients in managing their travel budget, finding the best deals and offers available.
Market Knowledge :
- Stay updated with the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry regulations to provide informed recommendations.
Problem Resolution :
- Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise, providing effective solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales and Upselling :
- Identify opportunities to upsell travel products and services, contributing to the company's revenue growth.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Senior Secondary School Leaving certificate or equivalent
- At least Diploma in Air Travel / Travel Management / Travel & Tourism
Experience :
- Experience in Corporate Travel Management is preferred, though not Mandatory
Technical and Functional Skill sets :
- Excellent knowledge in using one or more GDS
- Excellent knowledge of Fare Construction, Fare Rules and Conditions
- Excellent Customer Support and Servicing Skills
- Excellent and Articulate Communication Skills
- Expert Proficiency in English and one other regional language, though, multilingual
abilities preferred.
