Consultant - Sales - Healthcare/IT (3-8 yrs)

Sales Consultant will be responsible for promoting and selling Vision Technology solutions to healthcare professionals and Hospitals. The role involves building strong relationships with clients, providing product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and target potential customers, including ophthalmologists and Eye Hospitals

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

- Conduct sales calls, product presentations, and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.

2) Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

- Understand Hospital workflow needs in the workflow

- Coordinate with VISION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (VTS) Service team in providing service resolutions as per agreed terms.

3) Product Knowledge and Training:

- Stay updated on the latest ophthalmic medical devices and technologies.

- Educate customers on the features, benefits, and proper use of products.

- Train healthcare professionals on the use of VISION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (VTS) devices.

- Train Hospital Retail sales team in VISION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (VTS) devices (FAB).

4) Market Analysis and Reporting:

- Conduct market research to understand market trends, competition, and customer needs.

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.

- Provide feedback to the VISION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (VTS) team based on customer input and market trends.

5) Collaboration and Communication:

- Coordinate with Hospital Retail Sales team & drive the VISION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (VTS) sales in Hospital retail channel

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

- Maintain effective communication with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Optometry, health sciences.

- Proven experience in medical device sales, preferably in ophthalmology.

- Strong understanding of ophthalmic medical devices and the healthcare industry.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
