Consultant - Channel Development - FMCG (2-4 yrs)
Designation : Channel Development Consultant
Reporting to : Channel Development Manager based in India.
Location : Chennai, Mumbai, Indore
The regions they will cover:
- Chennai, (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh)
- Mumbai, (Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat)
- Indore, (Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan)
Job type : It's a full-time role but will be a fixed term contract, renewed annually based on the performance of the Individual.
Job Role :
- Identifying all channels in the assigned geographies
- To know and grow all channels, e.g. how many copy centers, stationery shops, Modern Trade.
- Knowledge of the Government sector and to know the market share of each channel to cover all channels.
- Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
- Putting together a list of target companies within the assigned geography.
- Help the Head Office Team in formulating Channel Strategy and action plan to grow and expand Double A Copy Paper and others product under - Double A- brand within each channel
- Run channel promotions. The channels are stationery shops, Double A copy centers, Non-Double A Copy centers, corporate resellers, redistribution dealers, modern trade and tender business (such as direct sell to Government, big corporate).
- Visiting the channels according to the visit schedule.
- Networking with businesses in the assigned geography and building relationships.
- Working closely with distributors for executing promotion.
- Developing and growing all Channels including placing our products in key channels.
- Developing other channels: Proactively seek out new opportunities to enhance Double A's brand awareness.
- Monitoring trade prices in the markets through all channels and regions.
- Implement marketing programs with the help of trade channel partners.
- Working closely to monitor Competitor movements and analyzing competitive activities.
Requirement :
- 2 years of FMCG experience, able to recruit distributors/dealers/master dealers/customers (channels) for the company.
- Candidates from electronics & tobacco industry are not recommended.
- Graduate, Post graduate/MBA will be preferred
- Should be able to communicate well in English.
