Job Title : Business Development Consultant - Data and Micro-services

Experience Level : 8+ years

Job Location : Remote,India / Coimbatore / Hyderabad

Working Hours : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST (aligned with US market timings)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced IT Sales or Business Development Consultant with a proven track record in securing IT service projects, specifically related to data management, analytics, cloud services, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the US market, engaging directly with clients to drive project acquisition, build relationships, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities for data solutions and microservices projects.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the US market to understand their business challenges and propose customized solutions.

- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.

- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches tailored to client needs.

- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth project transitions from sales to execution.

- Drive lead generation and pipeline development to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Provide regular updates to management on business development activities, market insights, and sales pipeline

Requirements:

- Proven experience (8+ years) in IT sales or business development, specifically in data management, analytics, cloud services, and microservices architecture.

- Strong understanding of the US market, with direct experience working with US-based clients.

- Expertise in managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a consultative sales approach.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize effectively.

- Willingness to work during US business hours (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST).

- Willingness to work from the office in Coimbatore or Hyderabad.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud as well as modern data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.

- Knowledge of APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of data integration, ETL, and big data solutions.
