Communications Officer - NGO (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
Communications Officer - Wildlife Trust of India
- As our Communications Officer you will ensure the quality and efficacy of all Wildlife Trust of Indias internal and external communications, across all media.
- You will have a Postgraduate Degree in Communications / Advertising / Journalism / Public Relations / Social Work or Marketing.
- You will work in WTIs national headquarters in Noida, NCR under the Marketing Communications division, and will report to the divisions Head and Principal Investigator.

Qualification, Experience & Skills :
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proven proficiency in proofreading, fact checking, editing and rewriting copy to ensure quality and accuracy of written communications
- An understanding of the importance of telling stories to inspire and engage
- Efficiency in handling and generating content for social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.
- Understanding of audience research, segmentation and development
- Proven experience of using digital technology to engage audiences
- Postgraduate degree in Communications / Advertising / Journalism / Public Relations / Social Work or Marketing preferred (graduate degree is a must)
- Work Experience of 1 - 3 years, preferably working for an NGO
- Knowledge of design, video editing software and WordPress will be an added advantage
