Communications Manager - Marketing - Hotel (6-7 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Acts as hotel's liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the media listing for sending to trade, group and consumer publications on a regular basis, press releases covering special events, promotions, etc.
- A dynamic brand communicator who can effectively safeguard and promote the brand identity and positioning of the hotel in relevant markets
- Lead, manage and enhance Online reputation management for the hotel in conjunction with corporate approved tools.
- Develops, interprets and implements the hotel policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations for the (Department)staff and personnel and also plans and organizes successful (Department) activities like promotions and food festivals in the hotel and overseas.
- Maximize media visibility for the hotel in targeted publications (print and online). Set goals, benchmark results & work with a creative mindset to develop fresh angles and opportunities that position the hotel as.
- Takes ownership to lead effective food and beverage and rooms related marketing ideas and programs for greater revenue generation and footfalls
- Support all digital marketing platforms within the hotel and on corporate brand handles.
- Maintaining effective media relations for maximum benefits and coverage.
- Recommending and proposing inputs to define the appropriate image for the organization.
- Lead all aspects of social media management and online marketing alongside desired support from Corporate Marketing team.
- Ensure researching, writing, editing and managing the creation, approval and distribution of communication materials.
- Creating written and presentation materials for management team for internal communications.
- Writing articles, memos, speeches and other materials as needed by management.
Requirement :
- Great leadership skills
- Strong understanding of luxury brand management and communication style
- Effective communication skills
- Hospitality experience will be preferred.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma Communications, or related field.
