Communication Manager - Marketing (5-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop content and direct creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message for the specialty brands in the company's portfolio.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, logistics, customer experience, operations and sales, to ensure consistent and effective brand communication.
- Design campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs.
- Direct in-house and external graphic designers, photographers, and other media-production specialists for the completion of marketing projects.
- Create internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster employee morale.
- Contribute ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
- Research and understand key business challenges, customer behaviour, target audiences, competitive activity, and environmental factors that impact programs within the business and assigned departments.
- Provide hands-on advertising support for assigned departments, paying close attention to timelines.
- Identify and present opportunities for consistent messaging and customer experience across channels from in-store signage to digital to print.
- Develop an understanding of short- and long-term department goals and planned initiatives.
- Work with leadership to take the pulse of overall business activity to identify cross-marketing opportunities.
- Stay informed of trends in marketing and communication within the industry to foster ideas and innovation.
- Respond to any issues or crises that may impact any of the brands' reputations and take appropriate actions to mitigate damage.
- Develop content for emailers, social media, performance ads, WhatsApp offers, and in-store communication.
- Compose/edit copy and manage all brand communication.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements :
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in journalism, English, strategic communication or equivalent and 5 - 10 years of experience in marketing and brand management.
- Strong copywriting skills with an attention to detail.
- Nuanced ability to communicate with the Ultra HNI target customer base.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and trends.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, market research, and consumer behavior.
- Should be well organized, mature and diligently structured in their approach to any engagement.
- Innovative and strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.
- Fast-paced team player with high motivation.
