JOB PROFILE
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front face of the company with the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on prospective clients- business needs and new markets
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Partner with Sales Team to create contract winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate to the stakeholders
- Collaborate with Design and Production Teams to ensure contract product specifications are executed on time and as agreed
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law established rules and guidelines
- Provide trust worthy feedback and after sales support
- Develop entry level staff into valuable sales people
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B Sales and proven sales track record
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager
- Events Industry experience will be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Innovation and problem solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose requirement based solutions for clients
- Willingness to work at odd hours to provide support to the clients and internal team at the time of events
- Time Management and Planning Skills
- Ability to build rapport
