Coloplast - Sales/Customer Service Specialist (3-6 yrs)
- This position is responsible for generating sales of Coloplast products through consumer sampling and telephone follow-up.
- In addition, this position provides superior customer service, troubleshooting, and coaching to end-users that enable the group to meet the metrics of the Coloplast strategy.
- The main focus for an outbound specialist is to be an expert at handling the difficult period first 12 months post-discharge and ensure patients get through this phase without problems and hence switch products. Also, the outbound specialist must handle the conversion and up-and cross-sales calls.
- Promotes Coloplast products directly to consumers via telephone, mail and fax correspondence and through offering product samples
- Completes monthly outbound call activity goals and sales targets
- Drives outbound calling campaigns to maximize new customer capture
- Provides knowledgeable product support and advice regarding product application and problem resolution
- Communicates and works as a team with the field sales representatives and consumer care team to meet and exceed overall sales objectives
- If applicable, work with clinical contacts to promote consumer programs
- Operates computer-based contact/database management program and accurately completes account/prospect records or profiles
- Own weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly consumer data analysis (product wise, hospital, rep wise and region wise)
Personal Characteristics :
- Excellent verbal, problem-solving relationship building skills
- Must be patient, empathetic and possess the ability to utilize the telephone effectively as a customer relations tool
- Strong listening skills and ability to use effective questioning skills that will lead to a successful resolution or sale
- Results orientated and outgoing in character with a natural skill in building rapport and engaging in conversations that will lead to results
Education and Experience :
- Proven sales results by using the phone effectively as a customer relations tool, preferably within healthcare
- Preferably, 2-4 years telesales experience
- Ability to explain product and lifestyle-related procedures while giving clear, concise, step-by-step direction
- Knowledge of database/CRM as well as Call Traffic Management systems
- Proficiency in working with excel/PowerPoint and word
