CollegeDekho.com is a unique universities discovery platform, which connects education seekers with education providers, at the same time offering information about colleges, courses, entrance exam details, admission notifications, changes in exam pattern, scholarships and all related topics. Over the next 2 years, CollegeDekho plans to scale launch and scale a new student-oriented service verticals which is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of the organization.
Social Media Specialist job profile:
- Social Media Specialists are responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness and improve Marketing efforts.
- Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand.
Responsibilities
1. Measure the success of every social media campaign
2. Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
3. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
4. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
5. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content
6. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
7. Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
8. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Successful Candidate would have
1. 3 - 5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
2. Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
3. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices - Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
4. Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
5. Good understanding of social media KPIs
6. Excellent multitasking skills
7. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
8. Good time-management skills
9. Great interpersonal and communication skills
In Addition:
1. Hands on experience of pic/video editing software or platforms (i.e Canva, Photoshop etc)
2. Knowledge of other Lead Gen platforms is a plus
3. Knowledge of e-mailer and SMS campaigns
