CollegeBatch - Content Editor & Writer (3-6 yrs)
Job Overview:
We are looking for dynamic individuals responsible for content writing, carefully reviewing, proofreading, and editing all written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, quality, and consistency.
Job Responsibilities:
- To research and write engaging content.
- Review, proofread & edit an article, ensuring the final content is error-free and follows all the set criteria.
- Verify facts and data within the content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Cross-check content against established style guides to maintain uniformity in language and formatting.
- Collaborate with writers to address any content discrepancies and suggest improvements for clarity and coherence.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned.
Good to have:
- Excellent command of the English language, good vocabulary and impeccable spelling and grammar.
- Proven work experience as a Proofreader, Editor, or similar role.
- A critical eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in written content.
Education:
- Graduate in Journalism and Mass Communications or BA (English).
- Master's in Journalism and Mass Communications or MA (English) would be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a good academic record in English language (Class 10th & 12th) would be preferred.
