As an Academic Counselor at you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting students through their academic journey. You will provide personalized counseling to help students achieve their educational goals and navigate challenges they may encounter along the way.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to discuss academic progress, career goals, and personal development.

- Assist students in developing educational plans that align with their interests, abilities, and career -aspirations.

- Provide information and guidance on course selection, program requirements, academic policies, and graduation requirements.

- Monitor and evaluate student academic performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate interventions.

- with faculty, administrators, and other support services to advocate for students' academic success and well-being.

- Coordinate workshops, seminars, and other educational programs to enhance students' academic skills and success strategies.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.

- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in academic advising and student development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree is must

- Proven experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services in an educational setting.

- Strong understanding of academic policies, curriculum requirements, and higher education practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
