JOB DESCRIPTION : 

- You shall be effectively working relationship between the School Principal & the Associate Dean.

- The University Guidance Counselor is a member of the IB Team.

- Should have better understand on IB courses. Should have active role in IB requirement & Events.

- Collaborate with the IB Team, ensuring best practice as a professional learning community and provides purposeful leadership of university guidance.

- Analyze and evaluate, with the IB Team, student performance data and take appropriate action in support of effective university guidance.

- Ensure that students have an active and engaged role in developing their university choices.

- Provide comprehensive support for students through personal interviews; guidance through the college selection process; and thorough preparation for the application process (including the personal or college essay).

- Be available to support students and families with guidance following the publication of IB results.

- Ensure every teacher and administrator is familiar with, and adheres to, expectations for good practice in the university admissions practice.

KRA : 

- The effective leadership, delivery and development of guidance program.

- Hosting on-site university visits, and promoting and leading off-site visits.

- Ensure a consistent collaborative focus on improving student learning outcomes through the effective understanding of the needs of university admissions.

Be up to date with and respond to current research about university admissions procedures, programs, and outcomes.

- Provide effective oversight of the university admissions process, all elements of the different application processes.

- Engage with all students, to build a purposeful academic and personal profile of each individual student.

KPI : 

- Successful admission & counseling of bright students into affiliated International Universities

- Effective and Cordial relationship with Principal & IB Team

- Attending Workshops related to IB and guiding Academic staff.

Required Profile : 

- Minimum 2 Years of relevant exp as College Career Counselor in International school.

- Good understanding on IB courses. Should have actively handled role in IB requirement & Events.

- Must have exp in counselling for IB Board.

Must be counseling /supporting into admissions for affiliated International Universities.
