Codemonk - Manager - Business Development (3-5 yrs)
- We are looking to employ a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager (BDE/BDM) to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales. You will be the front face of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
- To succeed as a business development executive, you should be adept at negotiating business deals and making sound decisions that will benefit the company. An exceptional BDE should have strong business acumen and excellent management, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities :
- Own revenue of above 200k USD annually.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting client's objectives. Additionally, author company collaterals for the sales pitch.
- Build a sales pipeline, proactively reach out to clients and close the deal.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
- Establish best practices and operating procedures for converting leads to sales.
- Achieve assigned sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field. The degree is not mandatory as long as you can prove you have the necessary skills to ace the responsibility.
- Proven experience of 3-5 years working as a business development executive or similar role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Detail-oriented.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
- The ability to travel as needed.
Good to have :
- Experience in B2B sales, Enterprise Sales, SDLC
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
