Business Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in custom software solutions or IT service sales. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with clients to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
Identify and Prospect New Business Opportunities :
- Research and identify potential clients in target markets, proactively seek out new business opportunities, and develop strategies to expand the company's client base.
Develop and Implement Sales Strategies :
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including identifying key decision-makers, understanding client needs, and positioning our solutions effectively.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships :
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business challenges and objectives, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Lead Sales Presentations and Negotiations :
- Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with clients to showcase our capabilities and secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams :
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to ensure alignment on client needs, project requirements, and delivery timelines.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends :
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Track and Report Sales Performance :
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts, and provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications :
- Any Graduation
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development, with a focus on custom software solutions or IT service sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and IT services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
