About Role: Manager Assessment Content Development
- The role is a key part of the Assessment Design and Solutioning team which is responsible for developing assessments across verticals and clients. Within the team the role holder will own and lead a defined portfolio of assessments (cognitive ability, communication assessments) and will be responsible for steps 1 to 4 below for developing of these assessments.
- Cognitive Assessment evaluate mental abilities that pertain to different types of cognitive tasks such as Inductive and Deductive Reasoning, and Communication assessments focus on assessing different aspects related to English language usage across different forms. While it is not expected that the candidate would have knowledge across all areas, an ideal candidate would be someone with a scholarly background, strong academics and an inclination towards research and design based managerial role.
- The role holder will lead a small team and own the below process to design and deliver high quality assessments as per profile requirements.
- What assessment design and delivery primarily involves.
- Consulting with clients to understand the talent requirement / business problem
- Communicating with colleagues, business partners (vendors) to design and develop assessments content.
Job Analysis and Assessment Design (Training to be provided) :
- Understanding the Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Personal Characteristics (KSAPCs) required for the job role.
- Identifying the type of assessment required for KSAPCs to be assessed.
- Assessment content creation and coordination. - Internal and External sources.
- Creating guidelines and processes to ensure thorough quality check of the created content on various parameters.
Analytics :
- Analysing data from the assessments to derive insights for clients and to help upgrade and refine assessment solutions.
Project, Team Management :
- Managing a team of Subject Matter Experts to create quality content
- Manage client projects end-to-end spanning all above steps.
Desired Candidate Profile :
What traits are required for one to do well in this role?
- A strong academic foundation
- 2 4 years overall experience necessary.
- Experience in leading and managing a team will help.
- Preferred experience: Content, Assessment design roles
- Strong Written and Spoken English skills
- Strong logical, quantitative ability
-Working Knowledge of MS Office; MS Excel
- Inclination to spend time
