Job Title : Metal Scrap Dealer (Ferrous Scrap)
Job Summary :
Seeking an experienced Metal Scrap Dealer specializing in sourcing, importing, and exporting ferrous metal scrap, primarily steel and iron. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of different scrap types, particularly within the Mandigobindgarh and Ludhiana markets, as well as global markets. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing international trade logistics are essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Source and procure ferrous scrap (steel, iron) from domestic and international markets.
- Manage import/export logistics, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Negotiate deals with suppliers and buyers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and environmental standards.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Analyze market trends and pricing in the Mandi Gobindgarh and Ludhiana scrap markets to inform sourcing strategies.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in metal scrap trading (ferrous metals).
- Knowledge of global scrap markets and different grades of scrap.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mandi Gobindgarh and Ludhiana scrap markets.
- Ability to identify quality scrap sources and maintain competitive pricing in these regions.
