Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cloud Sales to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling cloud services and solutions, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients. You will be responsible for driving sales of cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions to enterprises of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Cloud Sales: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed cloud services sales targets.
- Client Engagement: Engage with new and existing clients to understand their cloud needs and present tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and leverage this knowledge to educate and influence customers.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities by cold-calling, networking, and leveraging marketing resources.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and cloud solution designs to meet client needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cloud engineers, architects, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless delivery of services and high customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Management: Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in CRM tools.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed about industry trends and emerging cloud technologies to remain competitive in the marketplace.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud sales or IT sales, preferably with a focus on cloud solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a consultative sales approach.
- Customer-Focused: Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to understand client needs and build trust.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate terms and close deals efficiently.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field. A technical certification in cloud solutions (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Technical certifications from major cloud providers.
- Proven ability to manage large and complex sales cycles.
