SEO Specialist Responsibilities:

We are looking for an SEO resource to manage search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Job Responsibilities

- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing

- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization

- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

- Research and analyze competitor advertising links

- Develop and implement link building strategy

- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

- Work with product team during new product or new feature launch & generate supporting content to drive initial traffic through these product updates

Requirements :

- Proven SEO experience for atleast 2-3 years on e-commerce

- Understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

- In-depth experience with website analytics and SEO tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Semrush etc)

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Job Related Skills : 

- Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

- Understanding of technologies like PHP, JAVA, ROR and High level proficiency in MS Excel,PowerPoint

- Complete understanding about HTTP protocols, server responses, browser requests, cookies, FTP, SFTP, SVN

- Ability to work with external vendors - SEO & Technology vendors to maintain day-to day activities and ability to debug technical issues within website that effect over all SEO efforts

- Working Knowledge about cloud front, Amazon AWS services & understanding of cloud computing

- Complete understanding about different content management systems like Drupal, WordPress
