Assistant Sales Manager
Main Activities As Assistant Sales Manager :
- Have in-depth knowledge of our product and competitors.
- Answer all calls within 3 rings.
- All queries to be reverted within 12 hours of receiving.
- Meets with representatives from these companies to explain the resort merits and amenities.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with Guests/Clients.
- Networks with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage resort bookings.
- Responsible for creating banquet sales contract.
- Responsible to create Banquet event order (BEO) / Banquet Function Plan (FP) to all relevant department heads as per the SOP.
- Ensure follow-ups are done in timely manner as per the cut-off dates.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with Guests/Clients.
- Handling and converting Meetings, Incentives, Events & Conferencing.
- Offering/Suggesting best possible solution to clients as per requirement.
- Assist in development and solicitation of Banquet and event package plans and aimed at conference business and encourage repeat business.
- Each month review the next 3 months availability to highlight high or low demand dates and take steps to minimize the risk of any shortfall or overbooking.
- Ensuring all inquiries are recorded accurately as per the SOP.
- Helping the resort to identify new avenues of business and bring in more banquet events to the resort.
- Attending department and resort meetings whenever required.
- Targeting key accounts potential for the company.
- Responsible for sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.as per SOP.
- Responsible for meeting individual and team targets.
- To be aware of both individual and team targets.
- Ensure all mapping sheets are up-to date for respective portfolios as per SOP.
- Addresses and resolves any issues or complaints regarding sales or marketing
- Ensures that guests are enjoying their stay at the resort and that large group needs are met.
- Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.
