Job Overview :
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Sales Managers to join our team in multiple cities. This role is integral to driving our company's regional profit and loss (P&L), which specializes in providing renewable energy, waste management, and other sustainability products and services. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in partnership management, business development, and a passion for sustainability.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and sales realization within our product and service portfolio.
- Set and achieve realistic sales targets, while establishing, maintaining, and expanding our customer base.
- Analyze sales figures and market scenarios to drive informed decisions.
- Collect customer feedback and conduct market research to refine our offerings.
- Lead discussions and close deals on solar rooftop, waste solutions, and other sustainable solutions in CAPEX, OPEX, and Open Access models.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within the assigned region.
- Assess potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements.
- Visit customer sites to evaluate solar system needs, requirements, or specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractors or subcontractor bids for quality, cost, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
- Execute orders per agreed commercial and technical terms, and ensure timely payment collection.
- Submit regular MIS reports regarding sales activities to management.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities for upto date government policies and net metering procedures.
- Engage with project developers to secure EPC orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in selling renewable energy and sustainable solutions to builders, housing societies, or industries.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.
- Knowledge of product life cycles, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Familiarity with government or global initiatives in renewable energy and sustainable industries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an analytical mindset.
Preferred Language : Fluency in the regional language of the specific city within the designated state is preferred.
