City Manager - Sales - FMCG (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Execute GT strategy (incl. distribution strategy, and customer development) and growth plans for the metro/ city as aligned with RSM
- Drive profitability of the metro/ city and deliver on revenue and share parameters, Identify gaps in distribution / GTM in the region and address them via -
- Distributor management, scouting, selection and onboarding
- Setting up required system and processes with distributor/ sub-distributor for day to day engagement and sales planning
Achieve business plan :
- Drive monthly target along with distributor & sub-distributor teams
- Directly manage distributor FoS assigned for the company
- Ensure right visibility in stores (Eg: trade marketing collaterals are deployed as per plan)
- Drive Channel Partner satisfaction
- Work with RSM to execute trade promotions and activations for the metro/ city
- Drive best-in-class instore execution in all key stores
- Ensure distribution for all categories in the region (via same/multi distributor based on area's potential)
- Gather intel on sales trends in the metro/ city - by the distributor, sub-brand, SKU, etc. to ensure continued growth and take corrective action where required, and escalate to RSM as required
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan market size and geographies for sales executives/ distributor FoS
- Ensure POS/ DMS governance procedures are being followed by partners
- Credit management - Ensure 100% collection of dues within the stipulated period
