Chouraria Group - Sales Role (1-3 yrs)
Job Description & Requirement :
Chouraria Group is a 40-year-old company having its roots in the building materials division for 4 decades. The materials we deal in are Steel (Structural & TMT Bars), Concrete Ad Mixtures and Formwork (Shuttering Materials). The company has been constantly innovating and adopting new technology in the field of construction and has always believed in concept selling. We have always driven the market instead of being driven. Our company was the first to introduce chemically passed Fe500 bars in Karnataka, First in India to introduce fibre reinforced concrete and the first in the country to introduce Plastic Formwork.
The candidate will be responsible for visiting various clients in the field of constructions.
- He/She will have to visit clients in the city he/she has been employed as well as nearby regions.
- He/She will be responsible for generating leads through various activities like market research/ calling/ marketing activities in offices to know the requirements of the client and conducting client visits.
- He/She will also be responsible for negotiating the financials of the products and all work regarding the finalization of the deal.
- He/She will be totally responsible for the deal until the payment is complete.
- Candidates having exposure in the construction materials division will be at an advantage.
- For the first month, the candidate will be given a list of customers to cater to, following which he/she needs to build his rapport and customer base to be able to increase his/her database and sales horizon.
- For the first three months, there will be no sales target following which there will be targets set in alignment with his/her feedback. He should be well versed with the local language and English (mainly).
- Minimum Qualification B.com/similar degree with good English fluency.
- Could be familiar with building materials like steel, cement, plywood for construction, pipes or any other any other construction-related products.
- Minimum 1-3 years experience. Fresher can also apply.

- Decent communication skills ( Verbal and written)
- Prior experience in direct sales/cold calling/ field job would be preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge of MS Office ( Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Should have industry knowledge

- Should be motivated to work on a basic + commission basis (Salary)
- Would be a plus point if he/she is a Diploma in Civil or from the similar background.
- Candidates required in Bangalore are 3, Chennai is 2 and Hyderabad is 2.
- Salary between the range of 20-25k depending on the interview and experience.
