About Cholayil:

Cholayil was stared in 1969 by Dr. Sidhan, a certified medical professional. Dr. Sidhan used his understanding of Ayurveda to develop Medimix, ayurveda soap. Medimix soon became a household name and also transformed into the flagship brand of the company. The ingredients in Medimix are frequently used in Ayurveda for the treatment of skin maladies. The quality of the product and marketing perseverance of Dr. Sidhan were crucial factors for the success of the Medimix Brand.

In 2011, the leadership of the company passed on to Mr. V. S. Pradeep Cholayil and now it has become a multi - Crore FMCG organization. In 2007, Cholayil acquired the talcum powder brand Cuticura and expanded it to the deodorant and soap segments. It also acquired the soap brand Krishna Thulasi in 2011. Cholayil- s other subsidiaries are Sadayush, an Ayurvedic cure and care center, and Jullaaha, a clothing line made from natural dyes and fibers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Scope of work under different headings

Sales:

- Will be responsible for sale of Medimix products in Modern Trade. All over peninsular Malaysia.

- Soaps + Facewash + Body Wash+ Hand Wash + other New products - product scope.

- Will be responsible for opening New outlets/chains/accounts, listing & placement.

- Will be responsible for handling the key accounts in General Trade Present and Future.

- Will be responsible for coordinating sales operations, thereby achieving secondary sales growth.

- Sharing weekly reports with HO / Cholayil.

Marketing:

- Will be responsible for devising Marketing programs in consultation with Cholayil Head Office. Both Modern Trade & General Trade

- Will be responsible for conducting Road shows in line with market & Cholayil's expectations.

- Will be responsible for tailoring campaigns/activation & put in place correct systems and processes for smooth execution.

- Will be responsible for effective promotional activities, product awareness for growth & profitability.

- Will be responsible for researching and analysis of feedback for action/course correction

- Sharing weekly reports with Head Office/ Cholayil.

Account Management:

- Will be responsible for servicing the Key Accounts & Modern Trade in line with Market's expectations.

- Will do regular visits to Key Accounts and understand the expectations of the same.

- Will act on behalf of Cholayil - in Malaysia while servicing any clients - present and future.

- Will ensure ON TIME supply in consultation with Dattashree Team our Master Distibutor

- Sharing weekly reports with Head Office/ Cholayil.

Others:

- Apart from the above, will oversee sales of KL & Selangor markets. End to end sales process in GT.

- Will be responsible for growth in Secondary sales in both KL & Selangor markets.

- Sharing weekly reports with HO / Cholayil.

- Will ensure S&S report to be made available to Cholayil before 4th working day of a month.

- Will ensure tertiary sales reports from outlets and forward the same to Cholayil Pvt.Ltd

- Any other work assigned by HO/Cholayil.

Educational Qualifications : Degree or Post Graduation. MBA preferred

Work Experience Requirements : 5 to 10 years - experience in FMCG distribution preferred.

Age : 30 to 35 years old

Gender : Male

Skills Required

- Must have worked with Cosmetic or Toiletries or Food products.

- Either with the brand owner or distribution partner in Dubai & Middle East.

- In depth knowledge about Indian & Other ethnic markets, Local Main stream markets and Country Main stream markets.

- Must have knowledge about the Dubai & Middle East.

- Proven working experience.

- Analytical - ability to analyze large amounts of data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Should have a track record of growing within the organization.

- Willing to travel 15 days in a month

- Proven track record in execution excellence.

- Language - English, Malay
