Chola MS General Insurance - Manager - Key Accounts - Bancassurance Vertical (10-20 yrs)
The incumbent has the responsibility of driving strategy for sales and achieving the sales target for the assigned partnership channel/s in the region by coordinating with
Management Responsibilities :
- Work along with the regional sales team including State Heads, Cluster Sales Managers and Front line Sales Managers to deliver on budgeted sales targets from Banc assurance partnerships.
- Analyzing general insurance business potential, planning and executing strategies to drive distribution through Partnership channel for various segments.
- Responsible for managing relationship with banks assigned as Key Account
- Responsible for manpower planning and work along with internal and external customers to meet the relationship plan.
- Designing, organizing and monitoring National level activities for Partnership Channel for assigned partnerships
- To develop adequate market intelligence to acquire business by establishing, positioning the Organization brand and growing the Organization brand at assigned partnership channels.
Achievement :
- Drive sales and achieve targets through the partnership channel.
- Create ownership at the zone / state / branch level and to ensure the decentralized set up works
- Act as subject matter expert on Partnership Distribution products & processes for internal stakeholders & partners
- Achieving Top Line and Bottom Line as per budget. Achieving Line wise Budgets and desired Product mix Should be adept at multi-tasking
- Be a leader for the State Heads, Cluster Sales Managers and Frontline Sales Managers - mentoring, motivating & problem solving
Relationship Management :
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for the acquired accounts that will deliver agreed volume and profit targets.
- Engage an open and trusting relationship with the Regional / Zonal Management /Branch Managers/officers/staff of Partner
- Engage the employees of the branches in regular discussions to transfer knowledge about insurance
- Ensure that all service requirements are met and Internal / external customers are satisfied.
Lead Generation :
- Spearhead all lead generation initiative from the partner
Critical Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Behaviours) :
- Ideal candidate should be a Management Graduate with an overall work exposure of at least 16 to 20 years.
- More than 5 years experience in management of large sales teams of over 150 team members to sell through large key partnerships in the financial services industry- preferably General Insurance.
- In-depth understanding of the General Insurance industry.
- Strong relationships and networks within the Banks & Alliances domain
- Ability to create robust win-win value propositions and strategic fit for the partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business profit drivers.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal communication.
- Strong presentation skills. Inclined towards Solution selling- able to influence and persuade others to take action or gain buy-in
- Confident negotiator with good closing abilities
