MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the overall success of Chams Global's sales and marketing efforts. The primary purpose of this position is to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the Sales Department, thereby achieving and exceeding sales targets while maximising efficiency and profitability. The CMO is responsible for orchestrating a range of activities, including revenue generation, lead conversion, market expansion, and financial management, and strategic partnerships, all with the ultimate goal of positioning Chams Global as a market leader in the marketing industry. In summary, the CMO is entrusted with the critical mission of shaping and executing the sales strategy, delivering exceptional customer value, and positioning Chams Global is a dynamic and influential player in the marketing landscape.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES :

KEY AREA ACTIVITIES :


Revenue Growth :

- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Manage and interact with the high-value clients and clients, which team

required support for sales closings.

- Identify and pursue new revenue streams and market opportunities.

- Implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals

- Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly

- Ensure effective execution of the sales strategy across the sales team.

- Development of lead generation strategy and execution

- Improvement in sales Lead Generation and sales closure Rates

- Improvement in Lead

Generation and Conversion Rates :

- Enhance lead generation efforts through targeted marketing campaigns

- Optimise the sales funnel to improve lead-to-customer conversion rates.

- Provide necessary inputs to the team for increasing the conversion rates

- Manage Sales and Marketing performance matrix


- Calculate and analyse ROI for marketing campaigns and initiatives and maximise the ROI

- Implement cost-efficient customer acquisition strategies to reduce CAC.


- Develop and execute retention and upselling programmes to maximise CLV.

- Continuously assess and optimise marketing spend based on ROI.

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances :

- Develop a potential business Tie-ups with business associates (management) (consultancy, Sales consultants, Branding agencies, Event management)

- Maintain and manage a good relationship with the Tie-ups

Sales Team

Leadership and Management :

- Team building through the recruitment of suitable candidates to the team

- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team effectively.

- Provide the required support in the sales closing procedure.

- Develop a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance in the team

- Check the MJP, PFD, and EOD reports of the team.

- Conduct weekly and monthly sales team meetings for review

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Client Relationship Management :

- Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Budget Planning and Management :

- Develop and manage the sales department budget.

- Monitor expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints.

- Allocate resources effectively to maximise ROI.

- Market Analysis and explore opportunities

- Conduct competitor analysis and provide its outputs to the management

- Conduct a thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends.

- Explore new market opportunities and niches.

- Assess potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Recommend product or service additions based on market insights.

Cross-Functional

Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations.

Provide input for the team in the creative and strategy formulation if requested

- Participate in cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.

- Share insights and market intelligence to inform decision-making across the organization.

- Ensure seamless communication and cooperation among teams

Sales Reporting and Data Analysis :

- Collect the team KPI and submit to management before the 3rd of every month

- Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to Management

Sales Training and Development :

- Plan and deliver training for the team in the required areas

- Assess and address skill gaps among sales team members.

- Develop a good culture with in the team

Sales Forecasting and Planning :

- Ensure that inventory and resources are aligned with sales projections.

- Anticipate market changes and plan accordingly to meet future demand.
