It leverages Chatbots and AI-powered solutions with a powerful analytics engine to help businesses generate more leads, enhance customer retention, and automate customer support and marketing initiatives through platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Google, etc. The founding team includes alumni of London Business School, IIT, and Warwick.
Responsibilities :
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities : Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and identify potential areas for business expansion. Stay updated on the competitive landscape and market conditions to develop effective strategies.
Develop and implement business development strategies : Create and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets, attract new clients, and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
Build and maintain client relationships : Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers. Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities. Manage key accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
Lead the sales process : Drive the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and closing deals. Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities : Stay abreast of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor strategies. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and adapt business development strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Liaise with product management, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align business development activities with overall company objectives. Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.
Prepare and present reports : Generate regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights. Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management.
Stay updated on industry best practices : Continuously enhance knowledge and skills related to business development strategies, sales techniques, and industry-specific trends. Attend conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand professional networks and gain industry insights.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of business development principles, sales strategies, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Availability for domestic and international travel as required.
